Justin King and the Apologies
The download version of the album is finally available, and of course I bought it! :)

I'd already known all the songs on it, but some were new versions.
This man really needs to be made known to the world. I don't know how the drivel on radio can be any better that his music. It is very radio friendly in the old-fashioned way, but it's not just pointless crap because you can hear his soul in his lyrics and his voice. True, the lyrics are not often cheerful, but I would imagine that his songwriting is driven by his down moods rather like how my drawings are a product of my depressions. And of course, there is the fact that he is a guitar virtuoso in his own right. He gave that up for his band music, because that's what he likes better.
Epic Records doesn't know what they lost when he broke up with them.
And now I really ask that if you, all the people on my friendslist who's been patiently suffering through all the JK material that I've been posting... if you've ever liked any of his music that I've posted, anything at all, all I ask is that you tell me so. Of course, if you can, please buy a copy of his album too, but if not, I just ask that you tell me if you like his music, so that I can buy you a copy.
Don't feel bad about it, I really strongly want to send the message to him that his music is GOOD. And I would gladly pay more than US$10 for it.
